A BILL to amend article six, chapter sixty-four of the code
of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section four, relating to
authorizing the state police to promulgate legislative
rules relating to West Virginia State Police
professional standards investigations.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article six, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section four, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY
AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE
RULES.
§64-6-4. State police.
The legislative rules filed in the state register on
the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety-five, authorized under the authority of section
twenty-five, article two, chapter fifteen, of this code,
modified by the state police to meet the objections of the
legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the
state register on the twenty-second day of December, one
thousand nine hundred ninety-five, relating to the state
police (West Virginia State Police professional standards
investigations, 81 CSR 10), are authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
State Police to promulgate legislative rules relating to
West Virginia State Police professional standards
investigations.
